The Makita DHR281ZWJ LXT Rotary Hammer is powered by 2 x 18V Li-ion batteries in series (not supplied), to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system. Supplied with the DX09 Dust Collection System for effective and safe dust removal and a Quick Change Chuck. Changes from an SDS chuck for hammer drilling to a three-jaw keyless chuck for rotary only drilling. It has a powerful brushless motor with a 'soft no load' function which automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to suppress the vibration of the machine body. The variable speed is controlled by a trigger. Anti-vibration technology decreases fatigue during use. There is also an electric brake for added safety and an LED job light. Supplied as a bare unit, batteries and charger not included.
